Atuh Beach is located in Nusa Penida, is a natural tourist attraction that offers beautiful beaches with white sand and very clear water and is suitable for swimming or just enjoying the surrounding scenery. Atuh beach is surrounded by rock cliffs with shady trees making the atmosphere beautiful and cool. From the edge of Atuh beach From Atuh Beach, we can see a cluster of coral islands. There are four coral islands visible, each of which has a name, namely Batu Melawang, Batu Abah, Batu Paon and Batu Bukit Jineng. Of the four corals, the most unique is Batu Melawang where there are tunnels in the rock. According to public belief, every fishing boat that wants to sail from Atuh Beach to the high seas must pass through this hole.

The location of Atuh beach is not far from the location of Diamond Beach, to reach the beach atuh we have to go down the steps on the cliff which are approximately 300 meters high, because the location of the beach is under the cliff, the local people make stairs down so they can reach the location beach, really need a very good stamina to visit this tourist attraction, because the stairs are rather steep, to go down might be easier, but to come back is a bit tiring.

Not far from the beach there is a temple called Pura Atuh. This temple is often visited by the Hindu community around it, especially during rituals. In the western part of Pura Atuh there are two springs. According to local people, the origin of the word Atuh is taken from the Balinese syllable where the word "A" means "no" and "Tuh" which means "dry", so it is assumed that the word "Atuh" means "never dry". Where the uniqueness of the spring never experiences drought even though it is the dry season. So the local people called this area Atuh.
Based on community stories, two springs are still used by the community until now. One of these springs is considered sacred, because it is only used for traditional ceremonial purposes. Meanwhile, other springs are used by the local community for various life purposes. According to the local community, there is a story about the two springs. It is said that in the dry season, a resident saw turtledoves drinking water under a coconut tree. Then, in the evening the residents received pawisik (revelation) to build a spring in the watering area for the turtledoves. After tracing it, it turned out that under the tree there was a source of water. Even though the existence of the two springs is close to the beach, in reality the water feels fresh. Another uniqueness is that this spring never experiences drought even though it is the dry season.

Atuh Beach is hidden on the side of a cliff with a stretch of white sand about 500 meters, although this beach has a quite tiring road, but visiting this beach will make you feel on your own beach with an exotic panorama.
