Pandawa Beach is one of the tourist areas in the village of Kutuh, Badung, Bali. This beach is located behind the hills and is often referred to as the Secret Beach. Around this beach there are two very large cliffs which on one side are carved five Pandawa and Kunti statues. Located behind a very high limestone cliff and from the top of the cliff you will be able to see the beautiful view of the Indian Ocean
It is said to be Secret Beach by foreign tourists, where in the past there was no direct beach access, but through a path that was difficult to pass, in the past most tourists came to this beach to play surfing. The local government of Badung Regency realizes the potential of this beach and quickly manages this beach then declares it a new mainstay tourist attraction and builds access to the beach and other supporting facilities. Access roads opened to the public in 2012, Pandawa Beach is no longer a hidden beach on the island of Bali. Almost every day Pandawa beach Bali is always busy with tourist visits. The entrance to the location is flanked by two rock cliffs and on the cliff there is a large inscription of Pandawa Beach and there is also a statue of the pandawa.
When we pass the new access to Pandawa Beach, we will be presented with a view of the white sandy beach with the stunning Indian Ocean in front of it. On the way to the beach, we will find several caves with beautiful ornaments from white stone statues that take inspiration from Panca Pandawa. These beautiful statues added with Balinese ornaments are one of the spots to take pictures when visiting this sight. The name Pandawa Beach is taken from the names of 5 brothers in the Mahabaratha era consisting of Yudistira, Bima, Arjuna, Sahadewa and Nakula. This story has inspired the Balinese Hindu social life which reflects their culture.
